Privacy Policy
HealthAgent is built from the ground up on a privacy-first foundation. We do not operate remote servers for health data, we do not require account creation, and we do not track or sell your biometric data. All HealthKit computations and prompt formatting occur strictly on your iOS device.
1. Information We Do NOT Collect
Unlike conventional health applications, HealthAgent collects zero personally identifiable information (PII) and zero health telemetry:
- No user account registration, email addresses, or phone numbers.
- No remote cloud databases or backups of your biometric data.
- No third-party analytics trackers, advertising SDKs, or session recorders.
- No IP address logging or geolocation tracking.
2. Apple HealthKit Data Integration
HealthAgent accesses your health and activity data through Apple's official HealthKit framework. In strict accordance with the Apple Developer Program License Agreement and App Store Review Guidelines (Section 5.1):
- Explicit User Consent: HealthAgent will never read HealthKit data without your explicit system-level permission granted in the iOS permission prompt.
- Read-Only Access: The App only reads the biometric categories you authorize (such as Heart Rate, Resting Heart Rate, HRV, Workouts, Active Energy, Step Count, and Sleep Analysis). HealthAgent never alters or overwrites your HealthKit database.
- No Advertising or Profiling: HealthKit data is never used for marketing, advertising, data mining, or commercial profiling, nor is it ever shared with data brokers.
3. How Exports Work with AI Assistants
The primary purpose of HealthAgent is to format your health telemetry into token-optimized Markdown/XML summaries for artificial intelligence assistants (such as OpenAI ChatGPT, Anthropic Claude, and xAI Grok):
- When you trigger an export (via in-app action, Apple Shortcut, or Universal Link), HealthAgent compiles the requested summary locally.
- The formatted payload is copied to your device's clipboard or passed to the designated application only when you approve the action.
- Once you paste or submit the prompt payload to a third-party AI assistant, the privacy and retention of that interaction are subject to that AI provider's privacy policy. HealthAgent never communicates directly with those AI providers on your behalf.
4. Universal Links & Web Host
Our website at healthagentapp.com serves Apple Universal Links (via /.well-known/apple-app-site-association) and the fallback export handler at /export:
- The web server is hosted on Firebase Hosting (Google Cloud CDN).
- Firebase Hosting serves static web files and standard HTTP access logs for security and performance purposes.
- No biometric parameters or health query scopes passed in URL query strings are retained or stored by our web servers.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
Because HealthAgent does not store your information on external servers, there is no remote data to delete. If you wish to revoke access or remove all local preferences, simply delete the HealthAgent app from your iOS device and disable permissions in iOS Settings > Health > Data Access > HealthAgent.
6. Children's Privacy
HealthAgent is not directed to individuals under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may periodically update this Privacy Policy. Any modifications will be posted directly to https://healthagentapp.com/privacy with an updated effective date.
